Hanging with Celebrities - SUPER SATURDAY EDITION

This weekend we ventured to the Hamptons, to attend the A-list shopping event of the summer: Super Saturday, which raises money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.  The list of amazing vendors was long, but we had crafted a foolproof strategy to mingle with the celebs, taste all the treats and snag the best of the “garage sale” gems.  Although it is summer's most exclusive event, we wouldn't leave you high and dry, we've recapped the highlights so if you are asked, you can pretend you were there:

This event draws more celebrities than the pages of UsWeekly, and while we tried to play it cool, we did manage to snap some pictures of some of our favorite stars:

Our first stop was to the Brooks Brothers booth, where we snapped up a pair of Black Fleece Wingtip Swing Shoes designed by Thom Browne.  This one-of-a-kind footwear retails for $600, but we got ours for $50!

Then, on to where we racked up another deal on Steve Madden "Napa" Flat Espadrilles, which usually retail for $50, our price: $30 – cha-ching!

We couldn’t leave without a stop at the CRUMBS Bake Shop booth – we've never had unlimited cupcakes and our insatiable sweet tooth went into overdrive.  The girls working behind the counter were a sweet as the confections and hooked us up with our favorite treat - the Good Guy Cupcake (made of vanilla cake with rainbow sprinkles baked in filled with vanilla buttercream frosting and topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting covered with rainbow sprinkles and white chocolate drizzle)…Dear Diet, we promise to repent this week!

The star attraction of the day, was not even in the event - it was the gift bag.  This swag weighed a ton, but never once did we consider lightening our load.  It was stocked with beauty booty (like Sally Hershberger, philosophy, Tocca), fitness finds (Tracy Anderson's and Core Fusions' workout DVDs) and gourmet goodies (like PopChips, Pirate's Booty, Zico Coconut Water) and a ton of other amazing treats for us to try...We'll keep you posted with our reviews as we play with our plunder.
