Bravo + the Unemployment Rate (figures explained here)

Looks like the unemployment rate is about to get higher, because according to People.com BRAVO's The Real Housewives of New York City "stars" Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon and Cindy Barshop were not asked back for season 5. Ouch.

We think this is great news considering Alex is so annoying that we try to fast forward all of her scenes (especially when her and her pretentious sons, Francois and Johan, meander onto the screen).  C'mon does she really think that she is a model?  If so, then she is as delusional, as her husband is gay. 

Unfortunately a rep for Bravo further explained that "Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and LuAnn DeLesseps will be returning for season 5 of The Real Housewives of New York City."

Are they watching the same program we are?  Sonja is annoying and ridiculous - who forgets their underpants?! - they should pay her to stay home.

As always, the castaways claimed the parting was mutual and, "a friendly decision and discussions with Bravo are ongoing for other projects." Riiiiiiiight

We want you to weight in on the axing, do you think Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan should have made the cut?  Oh well, as promised, there's never a dull moment in reality tv...I bet Bethenny's having the last laugh!
