How to Feel like an Editor during Fashion Week

For those attached to glossy magazine titles, Fashion Week is more than just shows, it’s attending gifting suites, fashion fittings and of course, VIP press events.  Give yourself the VIP experience by checking out the Birchbox pop-up store.

This September, Birchbox is opening Birchbox Local to the public for a limited time. Customers will be able to experience exclusive services, build their own Birchboxes, shop for prestige products and more.

Why: Last year Birchbox created their first-ever New York Fashion Week activation with the Birchbox Sample Stop press lounge, and this year they’re at it again with Birchbox Local, now expanded to two floors to maximize the Birchbox experience. Situated in Chelsea Market conveniently located directly across the street from MILK Studios, Birchbox Local will be open as invitation-only from Saturday, September 7th to Tuesday, September 10th. Editors, influencers and celebrities are invited to stop by and build their own Birchboxes, fill up on candy and refreshments, charge their devices, and enjoy complimentary services before jumping in the photo booth to capture their makeovers. Sponsors include Intel, Resource Water, Pilot Pens and Chobani.

Starting on Thursday, September 12th Birchbox Local will open to the public. Customers can book makeup, hair and nail services, purchase and build their own Birchbox at the sample wall, and buy full-sized product from prestige brands such as Color Club, Stila, Oribe, Caudalie and Jouer.
